About Me

Nano Ruiz is a contemporary artist based in Geneva, Switzerland, who primarily works with acrylic on small to medium-sized pieces, organized into series. A true global citizen, Nano was born in Bolivia and spent many years in Mexico before settling in Switzerland. Reflecting his cosmopolitan background, Nano's artistic practice is an exploration of himself and the places around him. Although his works are inspired by his own experiences, Nano's art transcends a single interpretation. Instead, the artist seeks to address universal themes and explore the distance between experience and its representation.
